Fed. Circ. Axes Kilpatrick Sanctions In Wi-LAN Patent Case

Law360, Los Angeles (July 13, 2012, 8:22 PM EDT) -- The Federal Circuit on Friday reversed an order sanctioning Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP for refusing to hand over communications with client Wi-LAN Inc. in its patent fight with LG Electronics Inc., saying the lower court should have considered the fairness of protecting the communications.
