Commerce Atty Picked To Fill CIT Vacancy

Law360, New York (July 13, 2012, 3:24 PM EDT) -- President Barack Obama on Friday tapped U.S. Department of Commerce attorney Mark A. Barnett to fill a vacant seat on the U.S. Court of International Trade.

Barnett, the current deputy chief counsel in Commerce's Office of the Chief Counsel for Import Administration, will replace Senior Judge Judith A. Barzilay, who stepped down in June 2011. The White House said it had sent the nomination for Barnett to the Senate.
