Ex-Sanofi Exec Named Head Of FDA Generics Office

Law360, New York (July 16, 2012, 3:04 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced Friday that Gregory P. Geba, a former Sanofi SA executive, had been named director of the agency’s Office of Generic Drugs.

Geba has served in senior-level clinical or managerial positions in the pharmaceutical industry for the past 15 years, according to Helen Winkle, director of the FDA's Office of Pharmaceutical Science in the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research.
