JP Morgan Faces Suit By Call Center Operators

Law360 (September 27, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Call center operators at JP Morgan Chase & Co. hit the bank Wednesday with a collective action for unpaid overtime.

The lawsuit, filed in the Houston district court, accused the firm of violating the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act by unlawfully treating its army of call center operators as exempt from the law.
