Leaner Designers' Suit Against Shoe Co. Will Proceed

Law360, New York (July 17, 2012, 5:35 PM EDT) -- A New York state judge on Monday kept alive two designers' unpaid wages and hostile work environment claims in a breach of contract suit against shoe producer Marc Fisher LLC, but tossed the duo’s discrimination claims.

New York Supreme Court Judge Shirley Werner Kornreich refused to dismiss unpaid wage, breach of contract and hostile work environment claims brought by Kari Sigerson and Miranda Morrison against Marc Fisher, the heir to the Nine West fortune, and his company.
