Con Edison Attacks Legal Bid To Terminate Union Lockout

Law360, New York (July 17, 2012, 8:40 PM EDT) -- Consolidated Edison Co. of New York Inc. on Tuesday asked regulators not to terminate its lockout of 8,500 unionized workers, saying the AFL-CIO-affiliated Utility Workers Union of America Local 1-2 is wrong when it claims the utility is unable to provide safe and reliable customer service without them.
