Skadden Adds Former Head Of DOJ's Antitrust Division

Law360, New York (July 19, 2012, 5:01 PM EDT) -- Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP has hired Sharis A. Pozen, the former acting assistant attorney general for the antitrust division of the U.S. Department of Justice, to join the firm's global antitrust practice in Washington, it said Thursday.

Pozen joined the DOJ as chief of staff and counsel in 2009 and was later named as assistant acting attorney general in August 2011. During her time at the DOJ, Pozen took the lead on numerous high-profile enforcement and competition matters.
