American Electric Wins Judgment Bid In ERISA Suit

Law360, New York (September 28, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has granted a bid by American Electric Power Service Corp. for judgment on the administrative record in a case brought by a former employee who claimed the company improperly denied him long-term disability benefits, ruling that the denial was not arbitrary and capricious.
