Fight Over Florida West Plea Deal Highlights Inflexible DOJ

Law360, New York (July 20, 2012, 8:35 PM EDT) -- A federal judge agreed Friday to let Florida West International Airways Inc. plead no contest to price-fixing charges, criticizing the U.S. Department of Justice's "rote opposition" to the rare plea in a decision that experts say illustrates a need for the agency to be more flexible in criminal cases.
