LG Latest Target For FlatWorld's Touch-Screen IP Claims

Law360, New York (July 23, 2012, 4:38 PM EDT) -- FlatWorld Interactives LLC slapped LG Electronics Inc. with a lawsuit in Delaware on Friday, alleging that more than 20 models of LG smartphones, as well as its T-Mobile G-Slate tablet, infringe a patent covering a system for manipulating images on a touch-screen display.

With Friday's complaint, LG joins tech giant Apple Inc. and Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. as defendants in lawsuits over the FlatWorld patent. FlatWorld sued Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. over the same patent June 22, also in Delaware, and sued tech giant Apple Inc....
