Judge Has Beef With Meat Plant Workers' $1.7M FLSA Deal

Law360, New York (July 25, 2012, 2:09 PM EDT) -- A Missouri federal judge balked Monday at a $1.7 million settlement in a putative overtime collective action against Triumph Foods LLC, saying the proposed system for providing notice to possible claimants was too narrow and didn't provide any incentive for finding all potential opt-ins.
