Judge Rebuffs Vonage Objections In Klausner Suit

Law360, New York (October 1, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A district court judge has cast off Vonage Holdings Corp.'s objections to a claims construction order in Klausner Technologies Inc.'s patent infringement lawsuit of voice over Internet protocol technology.

Judge Leonard Davis of the U.S. District Court of Eastern Texas on Friday affirmed a claims construction ruling that Magistrate Judge John Love issued on Aug. 7, despite Vonage's objections to certain terms it established.

Davis ruled that the magistrate judge's conclusions were correct, pushing Klausner's $180 million suit against Vonage forward.
