Supreme Court Won't Hear Rambus Antitrust Case

Law360 (October 1, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a blow to Hynix Semiconductor Inc., the United States Supreme Court has declined to weigh in on an antitrust case brought by Rambus Inc., the court revealed Monday.

In June, Hynix Semiconductor asked the U.S. Supreme Court to step in and send the suit brought by Rambus Inc. to an arbitrator in Korea. Hynix filed its petition with the nation's highest court on June 19, even as Rambus' case against Hynix, Micron Technology Inc. and Samsung Group moved forward in California state court.
