DOT Suit Over Pipeline Safety Must Be Filed Under APA: Judge

Law360, New York (July 26, 2012, 12:23 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge said Wednesday that San Francisco should refile a lawsuit under the Administrative Procedures Act, not the Natural Gas Pipeline Safety Act of 1968, to compel the U.S. Department of Transportation to exercise more stringent oversight of California's energy pipelines.
