Shareholders Fight On Against Calpine's Disclosure

Law360 (October 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A committee of shareholders is looking to appeal the approval of Calpine Corp.'s disclosure statement, saying it provides insufficient notice of the energy company's valuation.

In court documents filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, the official committee of equity security holders notified Judge Burton R. Lifland that it would try to appeal his decision to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
