Doctors Accuse Blue Cross Of Anti-Competitive Scheme

Law360, New York (July 27, 2012, 2:31 PM EDT) -- In the first antitrust suit lodged by health care providers, a chiropractor alleged that the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association conspired with its member plans nationwide to divide geographic markets, a move that restricted competition and forced doctors to accept lower rates.
