Ex-Bachmann Staffer Says Campaign Stole Personal Data

Law360, New York (July 30, 2012, 8:17 PM EDT) -- A former political consultant for failed presidential aspirant Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., on Monday filed a suit in Iowa state court accusing high-ranking campaign officials of stealing private personal data from a database of home-schooling advocates, then blaming her for the breach.

Barbara Heki said she informed the Bachmann campaign when she was hired in July 2011 that she could not share information from the Network of Iowa Christian Home Educators database, which contained thousands or names and email addresses, the complaint said.
