Fla.-Based Adventist Health System Can't Shake FCA Case

Law360, New York (July 31, 2012, 6:49 PM EDT) -- A Florida federal judge Monday refused to toss a False Claims Act suit accusing hospital owner Adventist Health System/Sunbelt Inc. of overbilling Medicare, Medicaid and Tricare for drugs and medical procedures, saying two former AHS workers had provided adequate evidence of the company's alleged fraud.
