ITC Retains Dumping Duties On Chinese Roller Bearings

Law360, New York (July 31, 2012, 4:14 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission voted Tuesday that lifting anti-dumping duties on tapered roller bearings from China was likely to result in continued harm to domestic manufacturers of the products, a finding that keeps the decades-old duty order in place.

“Revoking the existing anti-dumping duty order on tapered roller bearings from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time,” the ITC said in a statement.
