2 Plead Guilty To NY Presbyterian Hospital Kickback Plot

Law360, New York (July 31, 2012, 4:42 PM EDT) -- Two former high-ranking employees of New York Presbyterian Hospital pled guilty Tuesday to participating in a conspiracy to defraud the hospital in a kickback scheme to award millions of dollars' worth of asbestos abatement and construction contracts.

Former NYPH vice president of facilities operations Santo Saglimbeni and former NYPH director of facilities Emilio “Tony” Figueroa, both previously convicted of wire fraud, pled guilty to two counts of mail fraud that had been severed from their indictment.
