Zoll Medical Can't Evade Defibrillator Patent License Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (July 31, 2012, 6:28 PM EDT) -- A California judge Tuesday refused to throw out Cardiac Science Corp.'s lawsuit accusing Zoll Medical Corp. of breaching a patent cross-licensing deal for defibrillator technology, saying the agreement might provide for installment payments over time, which would defeat claims that the suit was brought too late.
