American Home Unit Sale Meets Heavy Opposition

Law360 (October 3, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Bankrupt American Home Mortgage Investment Corp. faces a slew of objections to the sale of its loan servicing business, with even more objections filed just ahead of the court-appointed Tuesday deadline.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Christopher S. Sontchi of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware said in September that any objections to the sale had to be filed by 4pm on Oct. 2nd.
