Wilens Baker Sued By Ex-News Anchor Over NYC Subway Ads

Law360, New York (August 1, 2012, 7:11 PM EDT) -- Longtime New York City news anchor John Roland on Monday accused local law firm Wilens & Baker PC of continuing to plaster the city's subway system with advertisements bearing his image long after his publicity contract with the firm had expired.

Roland — whose face is a common site in New York subway cars on Wilens & Baker ads that label him a “compensated spokesperson” — says his agreement with the firm expired in September, but that the firm has refused to pull the campaign....
