AT&T Wins FLSA, Retaliation Suit

Law360, New York (October 3, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge on Saturday tossed out an employment suit against telecommunications giant AT&T Corp. after agreeing with the company that the eight employees who started the suit fell under the executive exemption of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Judge Lee H. Rosenthal handed down the ruling in favor of AT&T, formerly known as Southwestern Bell Telephone, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
