Ex-Tuesday Morning CEO Says Cancer Diagnosis Led To Firing

Law360, New York (August 3, 2012, 2:13 PM EDT) -- The former president and CEO of Tuesday Morning Corp. has filed a discrimination charge with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, claiming she was ousted after disclosing to the closeout retailer's board that she was battling breast cancer, her lawyer said on Friday.

In the filing, former Tuesday Morning executive Kathleen Mason claims she was removed from her leadership post in June after she informed the Tuesday Morning board of her diagnosis, according to her attorney, Rogge Dunn of Clouse Dunn LLP.
