Hearing Set For Daffy's Ch. 11 Plan Confirmation

Law360, New York (August 3, 2012, 3:00 PM EDT) -- A New York bankruptcy judge approved the contents of Daffy's Inc.'s Chapter 11 plan Thursday and set an Oct. 16 confirmation hearing, noting that because no class is impaired, no one is entitled to vote on it and no disclosure statement is necessary.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Martin Glenn approved the debtor's motion the same day a JEMB Realty Corp. affiliate agreed to buy its lease interests and other assets in a $43 million sale detailed in the discount clothing retailer's Chapter 11 plan.
