Citi Targeted By NY, Conn. AGs In Rate-Fixing Probe

Law360, New York (August 3, 2012, 10:31 PM EDT) -- Citigroup Inc. on Friday revealed that the attorneys general of New York and Connecticut have sought additional information in an ongoing investigation of banks including Citibank about their alleged manipulation of interbank offered interest rates, including Libor.

The investment banking giant and some of its subsidiaries have received information and document requests from U.S. and non-U.S. governmental agencies, including the two state attorneys general, according to its quarterly report filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
