Toyota 4-Runner's Faulty Seats Caused Injuries: Suit

Law360, New York (October 4, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Toyota Motor Corp. has been slapped with a lawsuit by a man who claims the auto maker installed faulty seats that failed to protect him when a car crashed into his sports utility vehicle, leaving him paralyzed.

K. David Williams and his wife, Fatima, lodged their personal injury lawsuit against Toyota on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, demanding damages for Toyota's “grossly negligent” and “reckless” omissions.
