Google's Street View Data Flub Could Rekindle Aussie Probe

Law360, New York (August 7, 2012, 10:06 PM EDT) -- Australia's privacy watchdog hinted at a reopening of its probe into Google Inc.'s use of its Street View technology Monday when it admonished the search giant for holding onto data it had promised to delete, though experts say the consequences — if any — would be minimal, given the agency's limited ability to impose fines.
