Pa. Judge Defends Forum Choice For Sandusky Coverage Row

Law360, New York (August 8, 2012, 5:58 PM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania state court urged an appeals court Tuesday to reject objections from Pennsylvania State University over the choice of Philadelphia County for a coverage battle arising from the child molestation scandal involving former football coach Jerry Sandusky.

At issue is coverage for a lawsuit brought against Penn State and others by an alleged victim of Sandusky, who was recently convicted on 45 counts for sexually assaulting 10 boys who participated in the Second Mile charity, a program for children with absent or dysfunctional families. The...
