Entergy Texas Moves Closer To Joining MISO

Law360, New York (August 10, 2012, 5:47 PM EDT) -- The Public Utility Commission of Texas, NRG Power Marketing LLC and a range of other stakeholders struck a settlement with Entergy Texas Inc. on Thursday, agreeing the utility’s proposed move  into the Midwest Independent Transmission System Operator would serve the public interest.

Filed with the PUCT, the marks an important step for Entergy Corp., as its six utility subsidiaries move closer to transferring their transmission facilities to MISO, the regional transmission organization that handles electrical transmission in 11 states and one Canadian province.
