FedEx Sues Texas To Dodge Unemployment Tax For Drivers

Law360, Dallas (August 10, 2012, 2:33 PM EDT) -- FedEx Ground Package System Inc. has sued the Texas Workforce Commission in state court, challenging its ruling that FedEx must pay unemployment taxes for its Texas delivery drivers, who the company says are employed instead by independent contractors.
