NY Gov. Pledges $107M Boost For Small Solar Installations

Andrew Cuomo said Thursday his administration would pump $107 million into a program to encourage new solar installations on business properties and municipal buildings, part of an ongoing effort to bolster the state’s solar industry.

Part of the 2-year-old NY-Sun Initiative, the program aims to spur development of photovoltaic systems of 50 kilowatts or more on a range of commercial, industrial and government buildings.
