KBR Says Halliburton Skipping Step In $257M Tax Pact Row

Law360, Dallas (August 13, 2012, 6:09 PM EDT) -- KBR Inc. on Sunday told a Texas court that Halliburton Co. is trying to skip an essential step in the arbitration of a $257 million dispute over tax liabilities and benefits stemming from the 2007 split of the companies.

KBR said it agrees with its former parent company that the dispute belongs in arbitration, not court.
