Class Action Blames Texas Brine For La. Sinkhole

Law360, Chicago (August 13, 2012, 10:07 PM EDT) -- Residents of Louisiana's Assumption Parish on Friday hit industrial brine producer Texas Brine Co. LLC with a putative class action alleging product liability, negligence and Clean Water Act claims, alleging the company is responsible for a potentially dangerous sinkhole that led to forced evacuations.
