Cabot, Williams Defend Pa.-To-NY Pipeline Against LNG Fears

Law360, New York (August 14, 2012, 3:32 PM EDT) -- Cabot Oil & Gas Corp. and Williams Partners LP on Monday defended to federal regulators their plan to build a 120-mile pipeline from Pennsylvania to New York, saying they have no plans to liquefy and export the gas.

The Constitution Pipeline would move some 500,000 million cubic feet per day from Cabot’s holdings in northern Pennsylvania and link Williams’ gathering system to the existing Iroquois Gas Transmission and Tennessee Gas Pipeline systems in New York.
