CIT Rejects Duty Results On Certain Chinese Ironing Boards

Law360, New York (August 14, 2012, 8:17 PM EDT) -- A federal judge said Tuesday that the U.S. Department of Commerce had given the impression that it was hunting for the highest possible dumping margin in an anti-dumping duty case over Chinese ironing tables, and remanded recent final review results back to the agency.

Commerce had its pick of several Indian financial statements, but settled on a 2006-2007 financial statement of Infiniti Modules Pvt. Ltd. that the agency said were publicly available to calculate surrogate financial ratios for Chinese ironing table makers, according to Judge Leo...
