NJ Public Adjuster Admits Bilking Insurance Cos.

Law360, New York (August 14, 2012, 7:09 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey public adjuster from Bergen County on Friday pled guilty to defrauding Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. and other companies and clients by billing for services that were never completed, state officials announced.

Sheena Clarke, 59, of Englewood, pled guilty to third-degree insurance fraud before Superior Court Judge Michael L. Ravin in Essex County, according to Attorney General Jeffrey S. Chiesa. Judge Ravin scheduled sentencing for Sept. 28.
