Home Depot Ducks Blame Over Stand 'N Seal

Law360 (October 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Firing back at allegations of negligence, Home Depot has rejected claims that it should be held liable for the alleged injury caused by Stand 'n Seal, a controversial grout sealant that once lined the store's shelves.

On Monday, the home improvement giant filed its answer to the multidistrict litigation currently unfolding in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Home Depot asserted at least 25 defenses it plans to use if the case goes to trial.
