Calif. Agency Must Improve Oil Spill Fund Control: Auditor

Law360, New York (August 15, 2012, 4:48 PM EDT) -- The California State Auditor on Tuesday called on the state's Department of Fish and Game to step up management of its oil spill prevention fund, which it said hadn't received its fair share of federal funding from its overseer while its balance had been consistently misstated in budgets since fiscal year 2006-2007.
