Spotify Targeted In Streaming Tech Co.'s Patent Suit

Law360, New York (August 17, 2012, 4:22 PM EDT) -- A Dutch peer-to-peer technology company sued online music provider Spotify Ltd. in Delaware federal court Wednesday, accusing Spotify of infringing several patents covering technology for streaming and sharing media.

Nonend Inventions NV, which bills itself as an innovator of peer-to-peer and online streaming technology, lodged a complaint alleging Spotify and several related companies infringed five patents that cover technology for streaming, sharing and playing digital media.
