Skilling Won't Nix Scruggs Son's Conviction, 5th Circ. Says

Law360, New York (August 16, 2012, 11:04 PM EDT) -- The Fifth Circuit refused Thursday to allow the son of an attorney who bribed a Mississippi judge to skirt his own conviction, rejecting his attempt to use the U.S. Supreme Court's narrowing of honest services fraud in Skilling as a challenge to the subject matter jurisdiction.
