3Com, D-Link Settle Network Patent Spat

Law360 (October 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- 3Com Corp. Inc. and Taiwanese rival D-Link Systems Inc. have made amends after more than two years of fighting in a patent infringement case over network interface controllers.

The two companies said Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California that they have reached a confidential settlement.

They asked the court to dismiss with prejudice 3Com’s claims against Taipei-based D-Link for allegedly infringing its two patents as well as D-Link’s declaratory judgment counterclaims.
