GOP Reps. Give CMS 2 Weeks To Answer States On Health Law

Law360, New York (August 20, 2012, 5:58 PM EDT) -- Republican leaders of one of the House committees that oversees Medicare and Medicaid demanded Monday that the administration answer dozens of questions about the health care law implementation from governors and Medicaid directors within two weeks.

After the Supreme Court's late June decision, which made the law's Medicaid expansion optional for states, the Republican Governors Association, the National Association of Medicaid Directors and other groups sent dozens of detailed questions to the federal government about Medicaid and the insurance exchanges.
