Law360, New York (October 10, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A labor union and several electrical contractors are asking a federal judge to throw out an antitrust case that accuses them of violating the Sherman Act by engaging in a conspiracy to muscle U.S. Information Systems Inc. out of the market for telecommunications wiring and systems installation work.
The defendants — which include the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local No. 3 and the AFL-CIO — filed a reply memorandum on Tuesday in support of a Sept. 17 motion to dismiss.
