Versata Settles Patent Suit Against Selectica

Law360 (October 10, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Versata Software Inc. and Selectica Inc. announced on Tuesday that they have settled a patent dispute over software used to help configure computer systems, while two other companies that Versata has sued over the patents opposed Versata's effort to get their cases consolidated.

Under the settlement agreement, Versata will license the disputed patents, and others, to Selectica for an undisclosed royalty, according to the two companies.
