Law360, New York (August 23, 2012, 1:08 PM EDT) -- As the federal budget continues to tighten and the government takes advantage of hungrier competitors, most government contractors are anticipating (or already experiencing) heightened government scrutiny of their performance. That increased scrutiny is expected to translate into harsher contractor performance reviews. That, in turn, is likely to impact award fee determinations, past performance evaluations and future source selection determinations.
