ITC Renews Anti-Dumping Duties On German Steel Pipes

Law360, New York (August 22, 2012, 11:55 AM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission said Tuesday that anti-dumping duties on steel pipes from Germany would remain in place for another five years because removing them would hurt U.S. manufacturers.

The commissioners voted 4-0 to keep in place the protective measures on seamless carbon and alloy steel standard, line and pressure pipes, following a regularly scheduled sunset review to determine if domestic pipemakers still needed the duties. Two commissioners didn't vote.
