Expert Report Sticks In P&G Denture Cream MDL

Law360, New York (August 24, 2012, 4:58 PM EDT) -- Procter & Gamble Co. on Thursday was denied a bid to strike an expert’s report in toxic tort multidistrict litigation over its Fixodent denture cream, with a Florida federal judge ruling that while the report wasn’t what the plaintiffs had claimed, no harm had been done to P&G.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Andrea M. Simonton ruled that the May "supplemental report" stating that Dr. Frederick Askari, a causation expert for the plaintiffs, intended to conduct a study on Fixodent and offer an opinion at some future date...
