Texas Landowners Take Hit In Suit Against Range Resources

Law360, Dallas (August 24, 2012, 9:49 PM EDT) -- A Texas state appeals court dealt a blow Thursday to landowners who had sued Range Resources Corp. over allegations the company’s Barnett Shale drilling had contaminated their water well, and who then said the company retaliated against them with a suit of its own, ruling on jurisdictional grounds it couldn’t hear their appeal.
